
Optometry Scotland has appointed three independent representatives for the north, west, and south and east areas to help increase member engagement across the country.
Johnathan Waugh (west), Ian Rough (north) and Jonathan Jennett (east and south) have joined the professional body’s board after a vote was held at its annual general meeting.
Eilidh Thomson, chair of Optometry Scotland, said: ‘By providing a point of contact for our independent members, we hope to demonstrate that we’re ready to listen to problems that may uniquely affect them.
