Optometry Tomorrow Bitesize kicks off in Wembley

Fourth event takes place in London

A fourth Optometry Tomorrow Bitesize event was delivered in Wembley, London at the weekend attracting its highest number of attendees to date.

Over 210 people attended the best received sessions from Optometry Tomorrow 2016, which included the latest in glaucoma treatment, surgery and service, the examination and management of dry eye, diabetic fundus in 10 cases and The NICER study: childhood refractive error in the 21st Century.

Mary-Ann Sherratt, president of the College of Optometrists, said: ‘We're very proud to have run Optometry Tomorrow Bitesize for the fourth consecutive year and especially since this year's conference has the highest number of delegates to date.’

The College will host its annual conference, Optometry Tomorrow 2017, in Birmingham on March 19-20.
