
Optoplast, part of Millmead Optical Group, has acquired the cases and cloth business of Louis Stone Optical and is now the sole products distributor.
Optoplast said that the collaboration brings together two reputable entities, renowned for their commitment to quality and excellence and that it was eager to integrate the products into its offering.
‘Optoplast’s dedication to innovation and customer satisfaction remains unwavering, and this acquisition is a testament to its continuous efforts to meet the evolving needs of the optical industry,’ the company said.
Founded in Guildford, Surrey, in 1946 by Walter Conway and Herbert Thorn, Optoplast supplies the optical industry with cases, frame parts and accessories including cleaning cloths, spectacle chains and tools for dispensing and glazing.
