Retinal imaging firm Optos announced a 22 per cent rise in total revenue to $58m for the six-month period ended March 31 2011 compared to the same period last year
The company said this increase was underpinned by factors including new business models and products and an increasing trend towards device sales, with over $11m of Optos products sold outright.
Optos said it was working on the Daytona project, a desktop ultra-widefield retinal scanning product for launch in early 2012, as well as an image storage and management system that is close to completion, with a summer launch expected.
