Optrafair opens its doors

It was a busy three days at Optrafair 2009 at the NEC in Birmingham. The three-day show (April 4- 6), boasted 56 new exhibitors coming from far afield as the US, India and South Korea.

Visitors over the last two-days have had an opportunity to attend free CET lectures, find out about the latest in eyewear trends in the Fashion Quarter and get an insight into the latest technology in practice management and diagnostics. Supporting the industry and profession, show organisers gave all the major optical bodies free space to exhibit. Those present included the GOC, AOP, FODO, ABDO, the College of Optometrists, the Spectacle Makers Company and the BCLA.
