Optrafair organisers donned hard hats to view building work on Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre new hall 20. The new hall will accommodate an expanded show at 12,500m2 (1997: 11,780m2) in a new grid system plan, with 165 exhibitors (1997: 188 exhibitors) from April 17-19 next year.
