Optrafair survey reveals show visitors keen on incentives

Optrafair research has shown that 35 per cent of visitors to the UK exhibition (April 21-23) are specifically interested in the prospect of special offers and competitions from existing and new suppliers.

Optrafair research has shown that 35 per cent of visitors to the UK exhibition (April 21-23) are specifically interested in the prospect of special offers and competitions from existing and new suppliers.

Respondents to the survey at Optrafair 2005 spent an average of 34 per cent of their annual budget at the trade fair, with 54 per cent of visitors expecting to spend up to £20k 20 per cent expecting to spend up to £50k and 4 per cent visiting the three-day exhibition with a budget of £1m.

Nearly a quarter of visitors to the NEC optical exhibition were shown to have sole purchasing power for their practice and 30 per cent also registered in advance on line via the Optrafair website.
