OSA vision drives member growth

As new initiatives excite, new members have joined the Optical Suppliers’ Association

New initiatives such as the creation of an e-health focus group, a green charter and help with regulatory change, were some of the reasons cited for eight new members joining the Optical Suppliers’ Association (OSA), the trade body announced at its AGM and Christmas lunch.

Karl Jeebaun, chair of the e-health focus group, said the creation of the new group was significant. ‘There is currently no central repository for data and standards. The NHS is looking to work with us to help to provide the essential pre-requisites for standardisation. We will be looking at every aspect of AI and telemedicine. This is not something that individual companies can do on their own.’
