Achieving Commissioning Excellence, a partnership between NHS Alliance and Novartis, has developed a document to help commissioners and providers understand how they can develop more efficient eye care.
Michael Sobanja, policy lead, NHS Alliance, said: ‘We really wanted to create something that would provide practical support for both commissioners and providers, and show that change wasn’t just possible “in theory”.’
The paper was developed collaboratively by commissioners and experts working in the ophthalmology sector.
