The company is sharing a stand with French distributor Novacel and will be exhibiting a complete range of products. Novacel will be showing the company's merchandising tools including lens display units and product leaflets. Building on its growth in Europe, Pentax is interested in signing up new distributors in countries where it does not have any agreements. Meanwhile, the ISO 9002 accreditation achieved by Pentax UK has been extended to Pentax Vision Europe. The standard has also been extended to include the manufacture of spectacle lenses and the 'supply, distribution and service of optical equipment'. 'The accreditation recognises our high standards in quality contol in the lens manufacturing process and the company's commitment to good practice and procedures as a manufacturer, supplier and distributor of spectacle lenses,' says product manager Peter Slaney.
