Cocker divulged how when performing in Sheffield a concert had been interrupted for 10 minutes after his glasses 'flew off' and the rest of the band put down their instruments to help him search for them.
Merchant spoke of his own difficulties at concerts as a glasses wearer, such as removing them to go 'stage-diving'.
