Photography events discuss sight loss in the arts

Blind and visually impaired photographers will discuss their work

Blind and visually impaired photographers will discuss their work during an online event on June 30 hosted by arts organisation Multistory and photographer Karren Visser.

The event explored whether you need to have sight to take photographs and featured presentations by photographers Bruce Hall, Mickel Smithen and Pete Eckert.

A second event, titled Seeing in Isolation, will be hosted by Multistory and VocalEyes on July 8 to discuss audio description in photography and art.

A question and answer session will explore accessibility and inclusion in the arts and include a British Sign Language interpreter. Further information can be found on the Multistory website: https://multistory.org.uk/
