Polaroid Eyewear has donated more than 1,000 pairs of ready readers to Vision Care for Homeless People that are already being used to help some of the capital's homeless.
The charity received the ready readers, with powers +1.00 to +3.00D, and a generous donation of lenses and glazing by Kent Optic.
Polaroid's sales manager UK and Ireland, Rebecca Harwood Lincoln said: 'This is a wonderful cause that affords practical help to people in real need. We are so pleased to be able to help in this simple way but that makes such a massive difference for the people concerned.
