Pollini on show at Silmo

Pollini is presenting its latest men’s and women’s sunglass and frame collections at this year’s Silmo exhibition in Paris (October 27-30).

The collection, which made its debut at Italy’s Mido trade fair in May 2006, comprises 16 sunglasses and 15 frames. Inspired by Pollini accessories and its ready-to-wear line by designer Rifat Ozbek, metal frames are characterised by open work details to give a three-dimensional effect on the sides. ‘Extra-light’ acetate or metal women’s sunglasses feature grilamid side pieces, Swarovski ‘spangles’ and decorative motifs produced by a laser technique.

Acetate or metal men’s sunglasses have glass or polycarbonate lenses with anti-reflection treatment on the inside and hydrophobic treatment on the outside to prevent water condensation during sports.
