Dispensing optician Roger Pope of Roger Pope & Partners in London's New Cavendish Street has been granted a Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen.
Pope established his business in 1987, having previously managed the longstanding family business and former Royal Warrant holder Theodore Hamblin Ltd and C Davis Keeler on Harley Street, London.
'We are delighted to be recognised in this way, having supplied Her Majesty with spectacles and lenses in the past five years,' he said.
Pope, who was joined in his partnership by dispensing optician Stephen Hopkinson in 1997, added: 'In a market dominated by large optical groups, we have succeeded in building a practice with five qualified dispensing opticians who are dedicated to providing our clients with a reassuringly individual, professional, service.'
The Queen has her eyes tested by an ophthalmic surgeon at a separate location.
