Positive Impact: Ocular and periocular cleanser

Optical supplier Positive Impact has signed a distribution agreement with Clinical Health Technologies to become the exclusive distributor of its Purifeyes ocular and periocular cleanser to the independent sector.

The product manufacturer explains that Purifeyes provides professional levels of eyelid and periocular hygiene, reducing microbial overgrowth, inflammation and long-term dry eye symptoms. It can be used before contact lens insertion, sports or simple hygiene and can be sprayed directly onto the eye, the company said.

Purifeyes was recommended for the treatment, prevention and protection of eyelid margin inflammation that affects most glaucoma patients on long-term prostaglandin analogues and 60% of contact lens wearers.
