Positive Impact (PI) has announced that it is now the exclusive UK distributor for in-practice dry eye test InflammaDry.
The testing kit, which can aid help the diagnosis of dry eye in four steps, was said to be the first and only, rapid in-practice test that detects MMP-9, a biomarker for inflammation that is consistently elevated in the tears of patients with dry-eye disease.
Commenting on the announcement, Nick Atkins, joint managing Director of PI said: ‘We are delighted to be able to make this unique diagnostic tool available to UK dry eye practitioners in both optometry and ophthalmology.
