Positive response from DEG

Danish frames supplier Design Eyewear Group (DEG) has released an interview with its CEO Lars Flyvholm, in which he claims the company is ‘doing fine’ in its response to coronavirus.

Asked about how the pandemic has affected the day-to-day operations of the company, Flyvholm explained: ‘Like so many other companies, we’ve been largely affected by the global lockdown and have had to make the necessary changes throughout the company, globally. Despite this, we have remained agile and open for business, working remotely in many cases.’

DEG’s global logistics centre and customer service teams continued to function with reduced service during lockdowns in various countries, and have begun the process of ‘getting back to normal’, according to Flyvholm.
