Independent optical business Prab Boparai Opticians, formerly Bushbury Eyecare, celebrated five years in Wolverhampton this month.

To mark the occasion the practice held an open day on August 22 in aid of local charity, the Beacon Centre for the Blind.

The chain presented the charity with a cheque for £405 as part of the day’s celebrations, with free NHS health checks and an interactive eye health presentation also available.

‘As a local independent business, we are incredibly proud to be going strong after five years in this wonderful community,’ said Prab Boparai, owner and optometrist at Prab Boparai Opticians.
