Burnett Hodd & Jenkins enjoyed a triple celebration at this week's Rodenstock Awards scooping three trophies and a trip to Casablanca.

Over 300 of the UK's top independent practices witnessed the awards in London's Dorchester hotel which marked a resurgence of the Rodenstock Club concept.

Barry Dibble, managing director of Rodenstock UK, said he had worked with former Rodenstock Club boss and now honoraryClub president Chris Hunt to restore the original Club ethos. He said he would spend next year visiting and listening to practices and supporting their marketing needs.

'Providing our customers with top quality innovative products will be the way to get through the recession,' he said. 'The Rodenstock team will be offering help every step of the way.'

Hunt praised members' loyalty. 'Those who talk about the demise of the independent do so at their peril,' he said.

Burnett Hodd & Jenkins walked away with the award for the national frame stylist of the year and the Wimbledon sunglass competition and accumulated the highest number of points across all the categories to win the Rodenstock centre of excellence award.

Accepting the award, Chris Jenkins said: 'I am thrilled to see Rodenstock Club back on course. I feel like we are back with old friends again.'
