President Macron inaugurates EssilorLuxottica’s new Excellence Laboratory

French president Emmanuel Macron inaugurated EssilorLuxottica’s new state-of-the-art Excellence Rx Laboratory (Labex) in the Grand Paris area on May 12.  

The industrial facility aims to enhance the production of made-to-measure ophthalmic lenses in France, combining advanced med-tech knowledge with a strong commitment to sustainability.

It truly embodies our unique know-how and ambitions to develop and transform our industry,’ said Francesco Milleri, chairman and CEO, and Paul du Saillant, deputy CEO of EssilorLuxottica.
