*Heidelberg Engineering, manufacturer of the HRTII, has launched the Heidelberg eye explorer image and data management system (HEYEX).

HEYEX captures screen images and imports bitmap and JPEG images into a single patient record and can store, review, archive and export images using one software system, said the company, and all images can be printed individually or together as part of a customised report.

The system can be networked for multiple users and locations so that patient records can be accessed anywhere and offers a 'full range of imaging diagnostics' for multiple purposes including topography, vivo histology, edema mapping, angiography, ultra sound and slit lamp imaging, added the company.

All Haag-Streit software is supported by an after sales service 'of the highest quality'.
