Prof David Spalton joins Optical Express’ International Medical Advisory Board

Professor David Spalton has been appointed to Optical Express’ International Medical Advisory Board.

Spalton has worked as a consultant ophthalmologist at St Thomas’ Hospital for more than 30 years and has been the president of the UK and Ireland Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the European Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Chairman of Optical Express’s International Medical Advisory Board Professor Steve Schallhorn said: ‘David is a fantastic addition to our advisory panel and we are very pleased to be able to welcome him onto the Board. His expertise and wisdom will enhance what is already a world-class medical advisory board, helping Optical Express continue to improve and advance patient care.’
