A number of awards were presented at the first World Congress of Optometry in Colombia last weekend.
China-based practitioner and researcher Professor George Woo was presented with the WCO Distinguished Service Award.
Further presentations were made for outstanding contributions to the profession worldwide and France Nxumalo won The Paul Berman Young Leader Award, established in partnership with the Brien Holden Vision Institute, Essilor International, Lions Clubs International Foundation and Special Olympics.
