Independent eye care practitioners can now compete with their colleagues to complete a collection of stickers and win rewards from Essilor Ltd.

The sports day style game has been designed as a sales incentive to boost revenue in independent practice; sporting activity stickers are received every time an order is placed for Varilux Transitions Crizal lenses during the three-month promotion period beginning on August 1.

Sports-themed sticker sets are available to collect to fill in the board, covering five different sports. A full sticker set from one sport is worth £10, while completing all five sets is worth £75. Special stickers can increase this value even further.

Essilor’s managing director Tim Precious explained: ‘We hope our nostalgic school-style sports day initiative will offer some light-hearted fun and healthy competition for our ECP business partners.’
