Quoise: Marine conservation

A collection of spectacles inspired by protected marine areas has been launched by Quoise

A collection of spectacles inspired by protected marine areas has been launched by Quoise, the Italian eyewear brand that designs frames using plastic waste.

Styles in its first optical collection have been made from cellulose bio-acetate and the company donates €5 for each pair purchased to an Italian non-profit environmental organisation.

The Plemmirio frame is named after the area on the east coast of Syracuse in Sicily and has a square, masculine front available in four colour options inspired by coastal rocks. The unisex Ustica style is a classic panto fronted frame with a keyhole bridge in green, aqua, honey or champagne colours.
