Racer revs up with Specsavers

Lincolnshire motorbike racer Alex Platt visited the Sleaford Specsavers practice last week with his Suzuki 650 Stock Twin sports bike, as the multiple has provided sponsorship this season.

Platt is racing with the Thundersport GB racing body, and is currently leading the championship having won first and second in races at Brands Hatch and first and third at Donnington Park this year.

With this new sponsorship he can now compete in a series of high-level races this season.

The company said he wowed the store staff, petrol-head patients when he visited with his bike and Specsavers branded leathers.

‘We were excited to welcome Alex into store to see his bike and hear about his promising racing career,’ said store director James Coleman.
