Red Dot day for EssilorLuxottica

EssilorLuxottica has scooped two Red Dot Product Design Awards. Ray-Ban Stories won the Red Dot: Best of the Best award for its smart glasses design venture with Meta. These feature a 5MP camera and open-ear speakers, which together deliver sound and vision for video calls and other media linked through iOS or Android for social media sharing.

The Franco-Italian giant also won an Outstanding Design Quality award for Sphere by Starck Biotech Paris. This is an ultralight design without screws or welding hinged by a titanium ball within the front, which connects to a thin titanium temple.
