
Registration has opened for Retina UK’s Professionals’ conference 2025 for health, social and education professionals, taking place this September 19 online and at the Holiday Inn London, Regent’s Park.
Retina UK’s chair of trustees, Kathy Evans, will discuss 50 years of progress to mark the charity’s 50th anniversary and Tina Garvey, chief executive, will share insights from its Sight loss survey.
Further sessions will cover developments in Inherited Retinal Dystrophy (IRD) research by consultant ophthalmic surgeon Robert Henderson and supporting the wellbeing of young people with inherited, progressive vision impairment.
Louise Gow, head of eye health, optometry and low vision at the Royal Institute of Blind People, will also deliver a session for optometrists, looking at low vision strategies, advice and services for people with IRDs.
