Dunelm Optical has added 17 new styles to its unisex Retro sunglass collection.
The company said styles were contemporary interpretations of yesteryear and that styles used bold plastics and metals with striking shapes. It added that black was the best-selling colour in the collection, but tortoiseshell hues had started to make inroads into overall sales.
Peter Beaumont, director at Dunelm, said: Our Retro sun collection returns this season ticking every box when it comes to fashionable, wearable styles. The high joint shapes in particular are ultra-flattering, and the use of colour really make these new styles stand out. The vintage trends show no sign of slowing down, which is why the aptly-named collection continues to go from strength to strength.’
The Retrosun 98 model sports a modified Wayfarer silhouette and is pictured in an on-trend crystal blue hue. Solid blue temples give the frame a modern look.
Retrosun94 is a vintage-looking metal frame with a modified panto eye shape, matte black hue and tortoiseshell acetate end tips.
