RNIB outlines technology relationshipsJust hours after its Smart Glasses earned £500,000 funding through the Google Impact Challenge, the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) director of solutions Neil Heslop outlined the organisation’s commitment to technology and predicted major changes for how blind and visually impaired people would interact with it over the next five years.

Heslop, who lost his sight when he was 20, said: ‘In the last five years, technology has really transformed my life. Today my iPhone has told me what platform to catch my train from and it has read me the paper.’
