RNIB selects new board trustee

Kamiqua Lake (pictured) has been appointed to the Board of Trustees at the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and aimed to collaborate and bring more clarity to its marketing and communications.  

Lake will bring more than 17 years’ experience in marketing, digital and social media roles. She has worked in healthcare communications and is CEO and founder of marketing communications consultancy, Coldr, and the UK Black Comms Network.  

Welcoming Lake to the Board of Trustees, RNIB chair of trustees Anna Tylor said: ‘Kamiqua has an exceptional marketing background which spans across a myriad of sectors and disciplines. Her passion for inclusion and community-led strategic communications fits perfectly with the RNIB’s mission to create a world without barriers for people with sight loss.’
