RNIB welcomes chief technology officer

The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) has appointed its first chief technology officer, Linda Rogers, who joined the charity on November 11, 2024.  

Rogers shared her motivation for joining RNIB: ‘I am passionate about using technology to drive inclusion and accessibility for people with sight loss.’ 

In her new role, Rogers will oversee both internal and external tech innovations, collaborating with industry leaders to advocate for accessible design from inception.  

This appointment aligned with RNIB’s new strategy, launched in June, focused on delivering tech solutions to scale services and foster impactful innovation.
