Rocha reaches out to women

John Rocha has introduced a women-only collection through Dunelm Optical, moving away from his usual unisex approach.

The collection draws heavily on themes from Rocha's jewellery to create a feminine range. Six new styles, from delicate minimal metals to bold retro acetates, are available. Detailing on the sides and temples includes floral, diamanté decals and cut-out patterns on classic brown, white and black frames.

ROCHA6049 is an open-temple metal with clean, sophisticated lines, while ROCHA6060 uses heavier acetates and crystals for a vintage feel. Director Peter Beaumont said it was fantastic to see a female-focused collection from Rocha. 'We've seen jewellery inspired designs really take off over the past year, and these latest styles put the Rocha optical range at the forefront of that. We're confident they'll be a hit with the female market.'
