Rodenstock adds blue light option to Solitaire range

Rodenstock has extended its long-established Solitaire product portfolio with a range of new coatings.

The anti-reflection Solitaire 2 coating features dust, dirt and water-repelling properties, as well as an anti-fogging coat with Rodenstock FogFree. In addition, the lenses have special protection against scratches and are twice as robust as conventional lenses with an antireflection coating. Optimised UV protection against light that is incident from the front as well as the side, reduces strain on the eyes.

New in the portfolio, the Solitaire Protect Balance reduces artificial blue light, which can lead to overstraining of the eyes and sleeplessness.
