Over 300 Rodenstock Club members and guests attended the Rodenstock Star Club Awards at London's Savoy Hotel on December 15 hosted by television personality Dr Phil Hammond.

Marketing director of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club Rob McCowen announced the winner in the Wimbledon sunglass category as Burnett Hodd and Jenkins of Sidcup. He pointed out that Wimbledon and Rodenstock had worked together for 17 years on the brand tie-up.

David Burghardt of Nettleham, Lincoln won the Impression lens gold prize, with Martin Steels of Storrington, taking platinum.

Progressive lens practice of the year silver medal winner was Fithyan & Saxby of Bishop's Waltham, with Prince & Bates of Burton on Trent taking the gold award. Platinum winner was Davis Optometrists of Kettering.
