Austrian eyewear manufacturer Rolf Spectacles has been awarded a German Design Award in the Excellent Product - Design Lifestyle category for its Kallista 04 wooden frame.
The international jury, comprised 30 design experts and had to choose from 2,250 entries in 10 categories. Twenty Gold-Winners and 10 winners per category honoured national and international high-quality product and communication design.
The company said judges were impressed by the completely wooden hinge system, patented glazing system and the high quality of the finish.
