Bolle Shifter wins more limelight as Romain Bardet takes Silver at the cycling world championships

Bolle’s Shifter sunglass got more time in the limelight last weekend at the UCI cycling world championships thanks to Romain Bardet’s second placing in the elite men's road race.

The French rider has reached the podium ten times this year riding for the AG2R La Mondiale team on the professional riding circuit and there are still races left to contest.

This season the AG2R team has been wearing the Shifter, pre-launch, to test out its performance. The Shifter sunglass is modelled on Bolle’s classic Chrono Shield style and has been coloured coded to the AG2R kit for Bardet and his team mates.

The futuristic style features a large shield made of NXT offering a wide field of vision and excellent optical clarity, impact resistance and a hydrophobic coating. Air vents in the frame create air flow to further prevent fogging. The curve of the temples improves comfort and stability by allowing more of the hydrophilic rubber to be in contact with the skin, this also leaves room for different types of helmet strap attachments. Bollé’s Thermogrip hydrophilic rubber nose pads also ensure perfect grip.
