The Queen's spectacles were customised with Swarovski crystals forming the letter Q on their sides, ensuring that no one was in any doubt who was wearing them.
The Queen and Duke watched a short scene from a film set in the early 19th century featuring a group of dancers in period costume, with the spectacles making them appear to hover between the screen and the viewer.
