Nyad is the new frame designed for mountain and water sports enthusiasts by Rudy Project, available with three different types of lenses for sun and impact protection, as well as two prescription options.
The lenses were designed for altitude and reflections on snow and water, while the removable side shields provide further protection from the sun’s rays when necessary. The frame is made of Rilsan, a polymer derived from castor oil making it a sustainable, strong, light and flexible model weighing 30g.
Lens options include: RP Optics Hi-Altitude, a category 4 static lens for protection against alpine sun; Impact X Photochromic Laser Crimson, which Rudy Project has exclusive patent use of; and Polar3FX lenses react to glare and deceptive reflections, enhancing contrast.
