Optometrist Phil Gregg recently celebrated running his own practicefor 10 years by treatinghis staff to a party and a bouquet of flowers.
The independent practice, Gray Opticians in Rugby, Warwickshire, has been trading since the early 1940s.
Mr Gregg started his working career in the town 1978, and bought the practice in 1992.
A spokeswoman said: ÔStaff were treated to alarge bouquet of flowers each and a three-course meal to celebrate.Õ
And she added: ÔWe would all like to thank Phil for being a great boss and look forward to the next 10 years.Õ
