Safilens introduces sonic cleaner for 30 day silicone hydrogel lens

Safilens has introduced the Open 30 silicone hydrogel monthly lens which uses a sonic cleaner to reinvigorate and clean the lens each night to provide month-long comfort for SiH contact lens wearers.

The lens, which also comes in a toric version, is an aspheric silicone hydrogel which features Safilens' Fusion Technology which  uses active hyaluronic Acid and  Tamarind Seed Polysaccharide ingredients to stabilise and mimic the tear film.

To refresh the process and throughly clean the lens each night the firm has introduced the Open Reload multi-purpose solution  and the Sonic Wave Generator contact lens case stand. Each night the lenses are placed in the lens case which is stood in the SWG. This vibrates the lens case and solution which, Safilens claimed, removes deposits and recovers the Fusion saturation of tear enhancing properties of the lens.
