Safilens offers digital protection

Delivery Ribo riboflavin-based daily contact lenses, part of the Delivery family for digital device users, aim to diminish eye strain caused by high-energy visible light (HEV) by providing accommodative support. 

Through the release of riboflavin, vitamin E-TPGS, hyaluronic acid and TSP (tamarind seed polysaccharide), the lenses were said to protect the cornea, crystalline lens and retina by shielding the ocular surface from UV and HEV light.

They also serve as ‘scavengers’, transforming reactive oxygen species into non-radicals –free of reactivity and toxicity – restoring the homeostasis of the eye, mitigating photo-oxidative damage and, according to the company, slowing premature ageing.
