Safilens has announced the release of its new Delivery contact lenses, which have been designed to release natural substances that promote the healthy growth of the eye and prevent myopia.
The first product in the line, Delivery Tyro, releases the amino acid tyrosine slowly during wear to help the body create dopamine, a substance that has been scientifically proven to play a role in the healthy development of the eye.
Designed especially for young people, Safilens said the lenses not only corrects myopia but promotes optimal development of the eye.
Safilens said Delivery lenses do not block UV light, allowing for the violet part of the visible light spectrum to enter the eye and promote the natural production of dopamine, further supporting healthy eye development.
