Safilo appoints country manager for UK and Ireland

Safilo has appointed Frederic Laffort as its UK and Ireland country manager.  Laffort will also head up the group’s newly established global department stores division in London.

Previously, Laffort spent 16 years at Procter & Gamble in several senior regional roles across Western Europe and Asia; most recently as leader of its professional salon business in Asia.

Safilo’s global commercial director, Henri Blomqvist, said: ‘I am enthusiastic about Frederic’s new appointment. He is a man with significant expertise, able to guide Safilo’s business in the UK market.
