Safilo celebrations

Italian eyewear company Safilo celebrated its 140th anniversary at this year’s Mido by launching its spring/summer collection for 2018.

This year, Safilo’s in-house design features refined combinations of metal and acetate that offer a distinctive visual impact. Every frame is a statement about functional aesthetics and impeccable craftsmanship which is reflected in the names of the different styles in the collection which take their names from the traditional tools and techniques involved in production.

Reminiscent of the brand’s sports heritage, the new Carrera Signature collection focuses on styles that combine classic shapes and craftsmanship with a ‘dash of urban attitude’. Lightweight materials and artisanal care for details mark the excellence of this collection which are designed to stand out from the crowd.
