Safilo reports solid Q1 2025 results

Safilo’s net sales for the first quarter of 2025 amounted to €285.8m, up 2.2% from the first quarter of 2024, despite a ‘persistently uncertain macroeconomic backdrop’. 

Carrera, David Beckham, Smith and Polaroid were among the group’s best performing brands, while geographically, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region led growth, supported by a recovery in the Northern American market. 

Safilo’s CEO Angelo Trocchia commented that Europe continued to be where the company’s innovation and customer focus aligned most effectively, helping to drive broad-based growth across markets and brands. ‘From a financial standpoint, we achieved solid growth across all margins and delivered a strong acceleration in cash generation,’ he said.
