Salary survey launched

Optician has launched its annual salary survey and invited optical industry professionals to respond, with the opportunity to win £100 in John Lewis vouchers.

The results of the survey will appear in Optician’s Workplace Guide supplement that will be published on September 25.

Simon Jones, editor of Optician, said: ‘The coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown have created the hardest trading conditions that optical practices and suppliers are likely to have ever seen.

‘Included within the survey are a few questions that will provide some insight on how far-reaching the impact of the pandemic has been and a barometer of confidence within the industry.’
