Save the date and SEE

Practice owners, eye care professionals and optical manufacturers have been invited to attended the third Social, Ethical and Environmental (See) Summit on October 9.  

The Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) event will feature a keynote speaker and discuss sustainability-related topics, such as the government’s net zero targets. 

Daryl Newsome, president of ABDO, said: ‘Becoming more sustainable is a job worth doing and it is great that we have so many parts of the industry coming together, collaborating and pushing this cause forwards and upwards.’ 

ABDO said the event will highlight the importance of environmental sustainability and inspire change by sharing good practice case studies and providing practical advice.
