Scrivens asks patient to open new site in Stone

A patient has opened a new opticians in Stone after the Scrivens Opticians and Hearing Care optical -practice moved to a more prominent location on the high street.

Patient Pauline Wood, who is 85 years old, cut the ribbon and was given a gift voucher and flowers as a thank you for being a loyal patient.

Jack Alcock, branch manager in Stone, said: ‘We have invested in a new store and we wanted to mark its opening in style. Pauline has entrusted her eye care to us for many years. She is not just a customer; she has become a friend, and was the ideal person to help us with the launch’.
